I am a crochet artist from Michigan! I am a mom, a wife, and a crazy cat lady (we have 4 cats)!

I started Lukastitch in 2024 after many years of thinking about starting a business. I have chronic illness which makes working in the normal workforce very difficult! I wanted to find a way to support my family.

I started out making my plushies from fabric and hand sewing! But after feeling limited in what I could make, I decided to give amigurumi making a try.

My grandmother taught me crochet when I was 8 years old, and I come from a long family line of crocheters. I’m always looking to improve my skills and thoroughly enjoy amigurumi.

Plushies meant a lot to me as a child and I still love them and collect them. Younger me would be elated to learn that I’ve become a plush maker! I hope that my plushies give that same happiness to you that they give to me.
